Central Iowa has a unique opportunity in 2010 to host a tri-national conference with an annual event recognizing ingenuity, creativity and hard work of local companies successfully competing and succeeding in the global marketplace.

From June 14 to June 17, 2010, the City of Des Moines, Polk County and the State of Iowa will join our corporate partners in hosting the North America's SuperSorridor Coalition (NASCO) Conference 2010: Moving North America Forward. Since 1994, members of this tri-national, non-profit, trade and transportation coalition have been leaders in uniting public and private sectors to address critical national and international trade, transportation, security, and environmental issues.

The conference is expected to attract more than 400 attendees, and will offer a unique opportunity for expanded visibility for the Third Annual Iowa Department of Economic Development’s Moving Iowa Forward Conference. Much of the Moving Iowa Forward Conference content will be incorporated into this international event, affording our out-of-town visitors a unique opportunity to get to know our sponsors and local business leaders.
